Re: Problems with new firmware 1.1.2.184933

I have given up!  I wasted too many hours on this already.  I reinstalled my ASUS router and it was up and running and stable within 5 minutes.

I can't say how disappointed I am with Linksys.  Having to deal with this on a holiday is horrible.

I will try again to set up my wired system in a couple of days.  If I can't get it going, I'm sellikng it on eBay or tossing it in th e trash.

Actually with the older firmware, it's pretty good. So just roll back and you'll be fine. I did it the Alternative method. One Node at a time, starting with the parent.

Re: Problems with new firmware 1.1.2.184933

I rolled back to the previous firmware. My 4 node network with all three child nodes connected with a wired backhaul now works fine. BUT, I can’t connect to the system with the app or the web interface. Anyone experience this as well? If so, how did you fix it? I’m hoping I don’t have to reset all of the nodes again. Thanks, Dave

If nothing else, Linksys, please refrain from pushing out updates around major holidays.

Re: Problems with new firmware 1.1.2.184933

I too woke to not working home network. I use my velop as the router to the Internet. It is connected to the unifi 24 port managed switch. Then 5 nodes on wired backhaul and 1 wireless that is wirelessly connected to one of the wired nodes.

After reading this forum, I rolled back the fw to the previous one. But still not working and I realized that downgrading firmware only happened at my router node.how do I downgrade all the other child notes?
I can see the firmware version from the phone app.

Also on my app, it says there is a new update. Has Linksys solved the problem and re released a new firmware, as i thought they pulled it already? Thanks.

Hope for someone to respond because network still down...

Hi, Bud_B. We advise you use a browser through your computer in manually updating to the previous firmware. Here's a link as your guide. Also, please check out this thread for more information and instruction.

So....they've pushed out the previous software now (essentially rolling back to the 3316 that works). I just did mine and everything is working great....thanks you to Linksys for helping us out by doing a push so folks don't have to do a manual install.  I've diasble updates as well....
