How did you guys get to 184 firmware in a first place? I'm on 183 currently and it does not show me that new firmware is available at all.
I'm in bridge mode with wired backhaul and it's nightmare with WiFi clients randomly having no internet or WiFi clients unable to get IP address from time to time.
I do in fact use managed switch in my house but I'm no network expert and the only reason I have it because I was unable to find 12 port unmanaged ones. While reading through this thread I noticed managed switches specifically mentioned and something called STP. So what shall I look for on my switch to disable to have better stability?

Depemds what type of switch you have in place. I have a Cisco SGxxx and by default they run STP to manage network loops (people connecting ports/cables back together instead of to an end devcei) - so you'll see a setting under 'bridging' or 'spanning tree' or maybe just basic STP (other vendors like Cisco also have other options like RSTP etc).
From what I read, Velop is using spanning tree to manage any potential loops between the nodes when they establish their backhaul to another node (so it means there is only ever one 'forwarding' path between the nodes, and all the others are in standby or 'listening'). The problem of course if that unless you are doing advanced configurations, theres typically only 1 active spanning tree instance on a network - so it sounds like the Velop's are announcing they are the root bridge and effectively shutting down 'real' ports on peoples switches which have other things like the clients connected to.

I found where to disable it in my Zyxel managed switch, so far did not see if it fixed the issue or not. I have only 1 managed switch and then it's connects to individual unmanaged switches in each of the rooms in my house. Do I even need STP in such cases in a first place, it looks like only relevant where multiple managed switches connected to each other.

Wil be watching for responses with baited breath.
I noticed the notes for this release do not mentioned some of the fixes/etc. that were included in the prior release before it was pulled.
