Velop Setup issues - can not connect to internet

I’m just trying to setup me new Velop system and I simply cannot get the first node setup. I have an openreach fibre modem which I plug directly into the node. When I first start the setup and my phone connects directly to the node it finds the node and then modem and is able to connect to the internet. It then asks me to connect to the node via the Wi-Fi settings on the bottom and it then finds the modem but is unsuccessful in connecting to the internet. My provider is BT so I don’t think I need to do anything else in regards to the configs it then says I can enter details for, I never have done before with any of the routers I have used over the years. Please help me!

Are you connecting the modem when the setup app tells you to, or before you start the setup process?

When it says in the steps. Everything seems ok at the first pass when my phone connects directly to the node but then it seems to be an issue when in the second pass I am connected via Wi-Fi to the node itself.

Please try to reconfigure the Velop. For step by step procedure, please check:

You mentioned that you're with BT. Please also consider the information below:

 

Connection Type: DSL

Encapsulation: RFC 2364 PPPoA

Multiplexing: VC

Virtual Circuit: VPI - 0 and VCI - 38

 

Velop configuration: Connect the Velop to one of the ports of the existing gateway. Set the Velop as PPPoE. Enter the username and password from the ISP.
