WRT1200AC with (Australian NBN) VDSL2 protocol.

Hey All,

Just wondering why the WRT1200AC is not compatibile with VDSL2 connections?  The bitrate is quicker but Im assuming Is it just a protocol/demodulation change that can be fixed with a software/firmware update.   Just seems such a waste to throw out a perfically good router, very frustraiting to say the least.

Do you mean the WRT1200AC isn't working with our ISP Modem?

You sugesting getting something like a x6200 for the NBN connection and using the WRT as a router....... not a bad idea. cheers.

In that case I recommend getting your ISP recommended modem that support bridge mode and use the WRT1200AC as the router.
