If it has the same settings as my WUSB6300, you would go into your control panel, select the adapter under netwoking adapters. In the settings go to advanced tab, and scroll down the list if you have to, to find something like perferred band and set it to 5. There may also be another setting if I remember right, under the advanced settings as well, called something like wireless mode where you could tell the adapter to just use the 5Ghz band...

I found a screenshot on the board for the advanced settings on my WUSB6300, https://community.linksys.com/t5/Wireless-Adapters/Linksys-WUSB6300-Advanced-Settings/td-p/958611
Do you see anything like that with a list? I guess I should ask what operating system you are using as well.

I wish it had some of the settings to force it to use 5Ghz only... I can only think of making seperate SSID's to force it to use it unless someone else has an idea....

This is only a guess, but if you try the chip manufacturers driver it may offer new options in the advanced settings.
You want the QCA9377 driver.
