I pasted a test.m3u file into HD on E4200, I saw the test of playlist in my TV and Media Player (Win7). But the playlist alway is empty when I selected it. Anybody can tech me how to create custom playlist on E4200?

Try creating the m3u into the HDD itself. Don't just save it locally then paste it. Like if you're using Windows media player, create a playlist, pull up some media files from the E4200's HDD then save the playlist directly to the HDD.

Since i saved the playlist directly to the HDD.

As per the scenario that you explained for that first of all the data you want to view is audio or vedio... Secondly you are saving the playlist directly to the HDD or you are saving the source file as well to the HDD.... And if you are saving the source file as well to HDD does that show up in any other computer if you connect that HDD.. It that does show up does that function with that computer...
