As many of you know derived of the lasts threats and vulnerabilities, Microsoft disable SMB version 1 (default version for linksys routers) for file sharing on Windows 10. I can enable again, but after a couple of restarts SMB1 disables.
Anyone knows when SMB v2 will be available for WRT1900ACS router? or how to enable?
Thanks in advance

Hi, david.fox! We haven't got a word from our Development Team regarding the availability of the SM v2. We'll relay this to our team, and hopefully an update will be released real soon.
With regards to the issues of the SMB1, we've found another thread on the compatibility of the SMB v1 for Windows 10. Please refer to this link: https://community.linksys.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/WRT3200ACM-and-USB-Storage/m-p/1237614

Linksys, please fix this security vulnerability by updating to SMB2 so I can use my Network shared USB drive on my router from my Windows 10 PC.

It's interesting that Linksys is still using SMB1, when Microsoft states that "It was superseded by SMBv2 and later protocols starting in 2007." Heck, that's only 11 years ago.
