Did you ever get your WD2TB to work with your router? I am having the same problem and would love to know if that worked or if you did something else that worked. Thanks!

I have not  but I am goig to try again this weekend and see if something else I was told may work.   I will keep you posted.

I am having trouble as well. I just converted my 2 gig passport from GPT to MBR but I still have CAN NOT READ DRIVE prompt.

With the USB drive connected to a Windows PC post the output of the below commands:

 

diskpart
list disk

select disk 2
detail disk

Thanks I recommend you right click the drive in your file browser and select Properties => Security Tab => Edit. Then search for user "Everyone" and give Everyone full control. After that eject the USB drive and try it in the router.

While it finds both USB drives and a thumb drive that I have tried, I continue to get DRIVE CANNOT BE READ

Did you set WD Security on the drive?
