I set everything in Group or user names:
all permissions to Allow
Still has the same DRIVE CANNOT BE READ
There was no 'everyone' in the list, only
Do I need to add this to Group or user names?

Nothing more we can do other than to test with a different partition format like fat32 just to see if the router will detect it.
Another option would be to switch to one of the open source firmwares like LEDE OpenWRT, DD-WRT or McDebian.

Try restarting the router with the usb drive connected it might detect the second partition then.

Okay, I will try that in a minute. Meanwhile, I got a 64gig thumb drive to work perfect. I checked , it is FAT32.
I also can see the TOSHBIA HDD & the MYPASSPORT HDD through windows file explorer (192.168.1.1) but not the files on them. I can copy and paste small files but not large ones. The properties have 'everyone' on both but I can't change the atributes to allow, it is read only. I also can access the MYPASSPORT HDD even thought it's not in the router external drive setup.
Is Drive cannot be read a warning, not an error? Just a message? I had drive size and free space on the thumb drive.
It seems I can see/access the HDDs, but not properly.

Okay, It did find all the partitions in the router settings but with the same Drive cannot be read.
When I access the drives through the LAN, it is still not right.
