I wonder how it is possible that they do not give us the opportunity to go back to the old firmware, a solution that meanwhile would allow us to use an unusable router.
then calmly they are looking for a definitive solution.
Only I find this scandalous silence?
after hard reset the ruoter works for only 40 seconds if you are lucky, after which it will not work again.
Dear programmers, you have created a great disaster
but the real incapacity and not having foreseen the possibility of going back

Ok, I got this version and it seems it's working:
I have followed these steps:
Downloaded the firmware.
Loaded to the router and installed.
Restored the router.
Configure as if it were new.
Don’t forget to disable the automatic firmware updates!!!
Now my PPPoE connection is working fine.
Hope it helps you and sorry for my bad english.

it works but if we finally reset it and make the connection wizard you have to be careful that it is immediately updated You have to log in without configuring the internet to disable the automatic update and only after connecting it.

The wifi for all devices is now painfully slow with this update. I have done the whole reset the router and reconfigure it blah blah blah. Since the google fix, the last firmware (.208) was working better than this.

I bought this router 2 weeks ago for use with my Xbox One.
I am experiencing a problem with the 5Ghz band. The wifi drops out, I can't download updates. When I switch to the 2.4Ghz band, the wifi is solid, and I can download updates quickly.
Some details. The Xbox is 5 metres away from the router. The signal strength is good. My ISP provides an IPv6 service, @ 100/40Mbps. All speed tests give me near full download and upload speed. I have installed the latest 'fix' firmware on the router.
What is wrong with this router and the 5Ghz wifi band? It seems to work alright on my laptop. Edit: Nope, it sucks on my laptop, too. Can't download anything. 5Ghz is borked.

I had to downgrade back to .208 to get my wifi devices back to decent speeds. Im not sure I can be anymore patient. I think I'm gonna have to give up on Linksys, and just get that new netgear running NetDuma OS.
